This 1972 Porsche 911T coupe was purchased by the current owner in 2019, and the 2.4-liter flat-six was subsequently rebuilt to 911E specification between 2020 and 2021. The car is finished in yellow over black upholstery, and power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include mechanical fuel injection, 15? Fuchs wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a front air dam, H4 headlights, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. Service performed in 2021 reportedly included a rebuild of the fuel injection pump and the installation of a PerTronix electronic ignition system, a new oil sending unit, an engine compartment insulation pad, and gaskets for the exhaust manifolds, valve covers, and chain and camshaft covers. This 911T is now offered on dealer consignment with a record of service performed under current ownership and a clean California title in the owner’s name.

Delivered from the factory in Light Yellow (117), the car is said to have been repainted in its current yellow under previous ownership. Features include chrome rear bumperettes, bright rocker panel trim, a driver-side mirror, a front air dam, and H4 headlights that were repaired in December 2020. A replacement turn signal relay was installed in September 2021.

The 15? Fuchs wheels are mounted with 195/65 Greenmax Traveler GP tires. The 911T was equipped from the factory with fixed two-piston calipers over ventilated discs at all four corners.

The cockpit features bucket seats trimmed in black upholstery along with a matching dashboard, headliner, and door panels as well as salt-and-pepper carpets. Features include a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, a heater, a cigar lighter, and a heated rear window. There is a crack on the dashboard, wear on the driver’s seat, and sagging on the door panels and glovebox door.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including an 8k-rpm tachometer, 150-mph speedometer, combination gauges, and an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 81k miles. Total mileage is unknown.

The 2.4-liter flat-six was rebuilt in the last two years by Porboys German Automotive Service of Pacheco, California, at which time it was fitted with a replacement crankcase, bearings, connecting rods, rocker arms, an oil sending unit, spark plugs, gaskets, and an alternator. The work also included a rebuild of the timing chain tensioner and grinding of the camshafts to 911E specification. A PerTronix electronic ignition system and an engine compartment insulation pad were installed in 2021.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle. New axle boots were installed in May 2020, and a replacement flywheel was fitted the following month.
